About the Role

Position Overview:

Arna Pharma is seeking a dynamic and experienced National Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving the company's growth through strategic global acquisition. The candidate should be Experience in pharmaceutical product sale (Rx and OTC) and specialty Medical device. He/she will be responsible for sales for Pharmaceuticals and Medical device

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve national sales targets.
2. Lead, coach, and manage a team of specialist sales representatives.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, healthcare professionals, and internal and external stakeholders.
4. Analyse sales data, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions and market opportunities.
5. Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
6. Oversee the creation and execution of sales training programs to enhance team performance.
7. Manage the national sales budget and ensure effective resource allocation.
8. Implement and coach sales team in the understanding and adoption of the “Challenger” model and
9. People Management responsibilities e.g. recruitment, retention, development plans, succession planning,
training etc.
10. Actively seek, identify, analyze, and present new business opportunities and improvement ideas to senior management on an ongoing basis

Requirements

We're Seeking candidates with:

  • Tertiary Qualifications in a science, business or management discipline or equivalent

  • 10+ year’s sales management experience in the Australian Pharmaceutical industry.

  • Proven sales success within the industry.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and coach a sales team, through change.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions.

  • Willingness to travel nationally as required.
